TAKFLY GROUP

2*MT-3*FA

The 2×MT to 3-Channel FA Breakout Cable is a highly customized, high-density optical interconnect solution designed to bridge complex multi-fiber architectures. By seamlessly transitioning two standard MT (Mechanically Transferable) multi-fiber ferrules into three independent fiber paths (or 3-channel FA), it enables highly flexible routing and interface conversion. Protected by robust black MT housings and transparent strain-relief boots, this breakout cable is ideal for space-constrained optical modules, specialized test equipment, and custom photonic integrated circuit (PIC) packaging.

Applications:
Complex Intra-Module Interconnection
Used inside high-speed optical transceivers (e.g., QSFP-DD, OSFP) or active optical cables (AOC) where signals from two separate MT receptacles need to be routed to specific internal optical engines or sensor arrays via three dedicated fiber paths.
Optical Testing & Measurement
Provides a highly specialized interface for testing multi-fiber devices. It allows test equipment with two MT ports to evaluate a 3-channel device (or vice versa), simplifying complex test setups without needing multiple external adapters.
Parallel Optical Transceiver Systems
Used in custom packaging for parallel optical engines, where a specific 3-channel split or aggregation is required for monitoring or low-channel-count transmission links.
Specialty Fiber Sensing
Ideal for integrating high-density interrogation systems with specialized 3-channel fiber sensor arrays in distributed acoustic sensing (DAS) or biomedical imaging.
Compliance & Quality:
Manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems and fully RoHS compliant. Each assembly undergoes 100% end-face inspection and optical testing (IL/RL) across all channels to ensure premium quality, consistency, and reliability for critical applications.
