TKQS28-100G-LR4 100Gbps QSFP28 LR4 10Km SMF Optical Transceiver Overview

TKQS28-100G-LR4 is a 100Gbps transceiver module designed for optical communication applications compliant to 100GBASE-LR4 of the IEEE P802.3ba standard. By converting 4x 25Gbps electrical signal input channels into 4 wavelength LAN wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) optical signals and multiplexing them into a single 100Gbps. At the receiving end, the module performs the opposite process, first demultiplexing the 100Gbps optical input signal into 4 LAN WDM optical channels, and then converting them to 4 output channels of electrical data.

The central wavelengths of the 4 LAN WDM channels are 1295.56, 1300.05, 1304.58 and 1309.14 nm as members of the LAN WDM wavelength grid defined in IEEE 802.3ba.

The high-efficiency cooled WDM Electro-absorption Distributed Feedback (EA-DFB) transmitters, in conjunction with high-sensitivity p-type intrinsic-n-type (PIN) receivers, deliver exceptional performance for 100 Gigabit Ethernet applications,
supporting up to 10 kilometer that meets Clause 88 of IEEE 802.3ba standard for 100GBASE-LR4 requirements.

It was created to form factor, optical/electrical connection and digital diagnostic interface complies with the QSFP+ Multi-Source Agreement (MSA). it withstands the harshest external operating conditions including temperature, humidity and EMI interference.
