TKQSFP-40G-ER4 40Gbps CWDM 40KM QSFP+ Optical Transceiver

This product strictly applies to 40GBASE-ER4 of the IEEE P802.3ba standard. it is a transceiver module designed for 40km optical communication applications.

The module transforms 4 x 10Gb/s input channels to 4 CWDM optical signals, and multiplexes the channels into one channel for 40Gb/s optical transmission. While on the receiver side, just backward rehearsal the procedures, like turn 40Gb/s optical transmission input into 4 CWDM optical signals, and finally convert them to 4 channel output electrical data.

According to wavelength grid defined in ITU-T G694.2, the central wavelengths of the CWDM channels, mainly are 1271, 1291, 1311 and 1331nm. It has a duplex LC connector for the optical interface, and for for the electrical interface it also has a 148-pin connector. Apply single-mode fiber (SMF) in this module is necessary as to minimize the optical dispersion in the long-haul system.

The product meets QSFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA). It can withstand harshest external operating conditions, such extreme temperature, humidity and EMI interference.
